Manza in brief
DESCRIPTION
Manza is more than an online business account. It is a financial management platform built for small and medium businesses. One app brings together the business account, cards, invoicing, payment links, expense tracking and accounting prep, with a simple goal: give entrepreneurs back the hours they currently lose in branches and in spreadsheets. Founded by Rinse Jacobs and Germain Bahri, both formerly of Solarisbank, the company launched in South Africa, expanded into Morocco in 2026, and took the name Manza in September 2026. It now serves more than 1,000 businesses across the two markets. In South Africa, accounts and cards are provided by Sava Technologies (Pty) Ltd (FSP 53169), an authorised distribution partner of Access Bank South Africa Limited (FSP 5865).

Where Manza comes from
In 1375, a cartographer drew the ruler of Mali holding a nugget of gold, facing a merchant from the north. The trade routes he controlled linked the Sahel to Morocco and the Mediterranean, and reached as far as Mecca. In that world, wealth was not hoarded, it circulated. Manza takes its name from Mansa, the title those rulers carried, and its purpose from that idea: value only counts when it moves.
